Bogotá councillor named alias 'La Flaca' responsible for the fire at the Nuevo Chile school

Lucia Bastidas uploaded a video on her social networks in which she points out the young woman and asked the mayor to apply the law on those responsible

At the Nuevo Chile school, in the town of Bosa, south of Bogotá, the case of an alleged sexual abuse of a student of the institution, who was rejected by the community, for this fact hooded men decided to do justice by their own hand and burned a part of the institution.

According to the family of the child under the age of five, who would be the victim of sexual abuse, the boy informed his mother that a teacher at the Nuevo chile school, located in the Olarte neighborhood (in Bosa), was doing abusive touching on his private parts.

Meanwhile, in the face of the situation that arose, the Secretary of Education, Edna Bonilla, visited the place with other officials who are working on cleaning up the place and restoring educational activities.

This fact resulted in the closure and cancellation of classes. On the outskirts of the school there were also some parents who expressed their rejection of what happened.

For her part, Councilwoman Lucia Bastidas, stated that “Good to know who is mayor. That is urban terrorism and there we were accompanying parents who say no to vandalism and terrorism!”

And he pointed to a member of the self-described 'frontline' as responsible. In addition, on Caracol Radio he said that “regrettable what happened yesterday at the Nuevo Chile school. We cannot allow an act of protest to turn into vandalism. This is part of the urban terrorism that has been driving the 'front line'.

On his Twitter account he pointed out with a video some shoes that are on the high voltage light cables as the symbol of sale, drug use and gangs in front of the Nuevo Chile school.

“It was alias 'la Flaca' and it was the 'first line' of 'las Medusas' that called and unfortunately burned the institution to the fear of children and parents, who here at school told us this morning that they are afraid of what might happen,” he told the station.

He also released a video showing alias 'la Flaca' in different protest stages in which he was like TransMilenio, the monument to Los Heroes and the Colegio Nuevo Chile.

“The Frontline people hide under the independent press label alias 'La Flaka' to call and register vandalism in schools and TransMilenio, with political interests. Terrorism cannot be confused with freedom of the press. We have to prosecute the Prosecutor's Office,” says the message that accompanies the video.

It is noteworthy that the Police and the Prosecutor's Office are conducting an investigation after the burning and riots in the public school. With regard to the affected minor, it is known that the child was hospitalized and the next day he was referred to a specialized center of the Colombian Family Welfare Institute (ICBF) where he is again evaluated and the results are the same.

And the boy's relatives claimed that the school counselor tried to persuade and even threaten the child's mother in order not to report this fact. In addition, they noted that the official told the woman that if the examinations did not result in any irregularity, the institution would sue her. Likewise, he hinted, according to the victim's family, that it was a montage by the counselor who wanted to remove the named professor from office.

Finally, the teacher who was accused of being responsible for alleged sexual abuse of a five-year-old boy at the Nuevo Chile school was removed from office and the minor was removed from the institution and the family filed the respective lawsuit with the Attorney General's Office.

“The raison d'être of schools is to be sacred spaces of protection, formation, love and peace. What happened at the Colegio Nuevo Chile, in the town of Bosa, should not have happened; it causes us deep sadness and we absolutely reject it”, published the Secretary of Government, dealing with this case.
