Search operation implemented by the authorities of Bello, Antioquia

Authorities established that five crews would be implemented to locate the 22-year-old. The members of the relief agencies participating in this search were placed at strategic points, starting from the place where the motorcycle was initially washed away by the water.

“Today's operation is going to start with the Western Command System where we basically graph the points of operation that we are going to have in five crews. These five crews will be distributed in Paris, which is the area where the emergency began, the fall of the two people who were washed away by the waters,” explained Captain Nelson Zuluaica, fire commander of Bello, quoted by Caracol Radio.

Likewise, Commander Zuluaica commented that the other crews are located at other strategic points in order to monitor the entire route that the young man dragged by the tributary could have made in the municipality of Bello, located north of the Aburrá Valley.

On the other hand, local authorities published Juan Camilo Duque's photograph and asked the community to be alert. If they saw him somewhere, they asked to make an appeal to the relief agencies or the authorities to advance the appropriate process.

“With specialized fire teams, technicians with ropes, self-contained equipment, gas meter and manual tool we continue the search,” announced the Mayor's Office of Bello a few hours ago.

Emergencies in Antioquia due to heavy rains in recent days
