The acclaimed American comedy was released in 2015 and gained widespread popularity for the enchanting roles of the lead actresses, which is why it remained in effect for seven seasons. For the release of the seventh and final installment, Netflix divided the season into two parts and the final chapters will land on the platform this year .
The first four episodes of installment seven were released in August last year, but the continuation won't be long in coming, according to a new announcement. The streaming service will release the remaining twelve episodes in April. As you recall, the story follows Grace, a retired businesswoman from the cosmetics industry, and Frankie, a hippie and art teacher, who discover that their husbands, Robert and Sol, two renowned lawyers, have had a secret relationship for 20 years and now they will start living together.
Throughout the seven seasons, the two women develop a unique bond, and they go through endless adventures when they must face their divorces and start their lives again on an emotional level. About to end with a total of 94 episodes, it will become the longest original fiction in the Netflix catalog to date.

Grace and Frankie stars Oscar-winning Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin (five times Emmy Award-winning). The cast is completed by Sam Waterston, Martin Sheeen, Brooklyn Decker, Ethan Embry, June Diane Raphael, Baron Vaughn and Peter Gallagher. The title is an original creation by Marta Kauffman and Howard J. Morris, who play the role of showrunners and executive producers.
The sit comedy has received numerous nominations at the Emmy gala, of which Fonda and Tomlin grouped five nominations in the categories of Best Actress in a Comedy. It has also been highlighted by specialized critics for its engaging and funny plot that begins in the most unexpected way.
