13 Colombian artists will gather in the Colombian capital to bring to life the EQUAL Festival, the first live event of Spotify's global EQUAL platform. The inauguration will be held with the Women who break it meeting, a series of Detonating Conversations that will bring together women from different disciplines around current issues where they have been leaders and protagonists of change and transformation.
This first contact with the festival will take place this March 30, between 9:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. with five different panels at El Teatro, located at Calle 185 No. 45-03. Paola Jara will be there, along with other artists from the poster, who will talk about the challenges “ahead to achieve true equity in the music industry and about the impact that artists' voices have on the fight for gender equity”.
The meeting will also feature great personalities such as Karen Carvajalino (Biz Nation), Johana Bahamón (Internal Action Foundation), Marce the Recycler, María Camila Díaz (La W), Marcela García (Barranquilla Influencer), Paula Mendoza (Jeweller), Maria Marcela Velásquez (Scientist) and many more.

According to Spotify, “Currently, only one in five artists on the charts is a woman, according to USC Annenberg's study on the representation of women in the music industry.”
