This Wednesday the Napoli training camp was the scene of a confusing and violent episode that fortunately ended without any casualties after a man entered the place with his car and drove at full speed on the courts where the players usually practice. The police officers managed to arrest the subject.
It is not yet clear why this man lashed into one of the gates and broke into the place on board his vehicle, minutes before the work of the first team team began. The site La Gazzetta Dello Sports reported that several players were in the place, but they were in the locker room and didn't even watch the episode.
As explained by the Italian portal, the man traveled several meters aboard his car until he descended from it in the golf area. He was then arrested by the agents and is waiting to know the reasons that led him to commit such a madness that ended up without injuries.
When the Napoli players took to the field to perform their second-shift exercises, there were still agents working on the spot, but peace reigned in the Konami training center. The subject's identity was not published.
The Italian team marks second in Serie A with 63 points, three less than the leader, Milan, when there are still eight rounds ahead. The championship has become exciting in the final stage as Inter harvests 60 units and Juventus, which had had a very bad start to the season, won four consecutive victories and now has 59 points, so it is excited to fight.
On April 2, after the FIFA date, Napoli will visit tough Atalanta for matchday 31, while Milan will host irregular Bologna. For their part, Juventus and Inter will clash in Turin in a momentous duel that will define the future of both teams.
