Movies are part of our lives. In fact, one of the prizes that all those who are part of the so-called “seventh art” most want is undoubtedly the Oscar statuettes.

Among the features that stand out the most are those that have a very long or very short duration. Here we will show you which are the longest running films that have also been winners or nominated for the “Academy Awards for Merit”.

LONGEST MOVIES IN CINEMA

The longest film in the history of cinema is Ambiancé, of Swedish origin, directed by Anders Weberg and lasts 720 hours. However, this film has not been a winner or nominated for the Oscars.
