The parliamentarian of Avanza Pais, Diego Bazán, officially submitted the motion of censure against the Minister of Health, Hernán Condori, who has been questioned since he began his position in the health portfolio. Given this, different benches were in favor in the Congress of the Republic. The document had 33 signatures without the endorsement of any representative of Fuerza Popular and Peru Libre.

I have virtually filed the motion of censure against Mr. Condori so that he does not continue to hold the position of Minister of Health. ”, he commented on his official Twitter account.

In addition, the congressman expressed his gratitude to the benches for supporting the filing of the motion of censure against the Minister of Health.

I thank the 32 congressional colleagues who have courageously joined this motion of censure against Minister Condori. To the bench of Avanza Pais, of Popular Renewal, the Purple Party, the Alliance for Progress and Juntos for Peru, who consistently believe that today the minister should not remain in office. The continuous complaints he has, the questions and even with the support of the different medical colleges in the country, reaffirm our position that the man should leave office,” he said.

In addition, Diego Bazán was confident that there would be 66 votes to censure Minister Hernán Condori.

“We are consistent and will continue until the end. This is the first step and I am sure that with the simple majority we need, those 66 votes that we are going to get when, finally, the issue is debated in plenary, the gentleman will have to leave office,” he said.

The document of the motion of censure against Minister Hernán Condori will be published at the next plenary session of the Congress of the Republic.

HERNÁN CONDORI SPEAKS OUT ON HIS CENSORSHIP

In an interview with the weekly newspaper 'Hildebrandt in his thirteen', a few weeks ago, Condori was not silent about the motion of censure that was going to be filed against him, this after he and the Minister of Justice, Ángel Yldefonso, were questioned in Congress.

On the censorship that enlists against him, he said that he is a graduate of the master's degree in Health Management. “I'm not just anyone. I've been a director for many years. I've spent most of my life as a director. I have been network director three times...”

To the question, what are Peruvians going to miss out on taking you out of the ministry? , Condori replied: “A very hardworking person. I have no reports of theft, overvaluation. Enemy number one of overvaluations.” Regarding his health plan, he said that there are major shortcomings, so we have to look at the issue of human resources, infrastructure and equipment. “These are three fundamental things that the entire national system suffers from. And we need to strengthen the first level of care.”

He asked the congressmen to reflect on their censorship. I ask God from here to enlighten each of the congressmen, touch their hearts, touch their brains and allow me not to lock my tongue at that moment. (...) I want to write a story. (...) They have been chosen by the people, this is not booty,” he said.
