After learning about this upcoming return of the actress from Ayacucho, many Twitter users have not hesitated to compare her to Stephanie Cayo, highlighting her as a true representative of Andean women.

That is why after the publication on networks of the next screening of Lina in Lima, which stars Magaly Solier, the comparisons disqualifying Maxi Iglesias' boyfriend were not long in coming.

La huantina was asked about it, and this was her response: “Everyone has their way of thinking, of seeing things, I don't get into the thoughts of people who say they don't represent us. Not all Peruvian women are the same and we don't all think the same way and we must respect their way of thinking.” In this way he did not want to stir up the questions any more.

THE CHALLENGES WITH LINA IN LIMA

It should be remembered that 'Lina de Lima' is a film produced between Chile, Peru and Argentina. Magaly Solier tells about the challenges she had to face with her new character.

“The challenge was to compose the songs, the lyrics and, incidentally, to play six characters right there, like Lina from Lima and to separate who Magaly is because dancing and dressing in huge heels was quite a challenge. One of the most difficult challenges because I was afraid of breaking my ankle, imagine,” he said for America Espectáculos.

Lina in Lima is directed by Chilean filmmaker María Paz González. In this production, Magaly Solier will once again surprise with a character out of all stereotypes when she plays a Peruvian woman, a migrant mother in Santiago de Chile, who despite the pain of separation from her family, does not lose strength and joy, immersed in her dreams, the music that connects her with her roots and the need to discover their own identity.

MARIA PAZ GONZÁLEZ'S VISION WHEN CREATING LINA IN LIMA

María Paz González says she made the leap to this creation because of her interest in the world of migration.

I started to investigate in a fairly documentary way. And I decided to make a fiction because while I was reviewing references, I found a very condemned representation of the migrant, very limited to stagnant characters, without dreams, paralyzed. Films where Peruvian employees only say “yes, madam; no, ma'am”, and that didn't match what she saw in karaoke, religious celebrations, parties,” said the director.
