A press release ended the rumors about what would happen to the tour that Diego Verdaguer left pending before his regrettable departure, on January 27, 2022 in Los Angeles, California, United States. Amanda Miguel and her daughter Ana Victoria made it official that they will take the baton because for him music was something very important in life so they will posthumously pay homage to him with this series of concerts.
Siempre Te Amaré- Tour 2022 will start on August 5 in California and will run for the following months in that country, for the time being. During these concerts mother and daughter will offer the best of their repertoire, as well as a set where they will sing the greatest hits of their beloved husband and father, so it is expected that this event will be a retelling of stories, music, nostalgia, longing and, above all, of perpetual and indelible affection.
“Some people never leave us, they are eternal... they become the light of every day, into the impulse that makes the heart beat; their essence remains, it is permanent. He always said that music is so magical and wonderful, that it could heal the soul. The two women he loved the most remain faithful to his memory and principles, that is why they will fulfill the commitment before the public to continue honoring their memory and spirit in style,” the tour statement said.
The interpreter of hits such as He Lied to Me, So He Will Never Love You and Let's Make a Deal took advantage of the news to dedicate some moving words to whoever was her partner not only with an artistic career, who emerged in Mexico worldwide, but also in life until his last days. In the writing Amanda Miguel assures that out of respect and admiration she will dedicate this new tour to her for life.
“With all the love and recognition of the work you always did and including me as your wife, for everything you created in my career, which you cared for as your treasure as my most ardent fan, I will dedicate this tour to you and I will also dedicate myself with my soul to sing in all the stages we will visit, delivering the best of me and my heart as you always taught me”, he began.
The Argentinian singer explained that she could not have been happier that her common daughter, Ana Victoria, had not only accepted her proposal to participate in the tribute tour, but that being present on stage with the “fruit of his great love” is another way in which he celebrates Diego Verdaguer in a posthumous but very loving and respectful way.
“Thank you for giving me your company, your inspiration, impeccable productions and such a beautiful repertoire. #Siempre I will love you and I will admire you... I would have no better guest on this tour than our inspiration: Our daughter Ana Victoria, the most beautiful being my heaven gave me... that's why I asked her to accompany me”, concluded the 65-year-old singer.
On the other hand, the performer of songs like Más Vale Tarde que Nunca (in collaboration with Christian Chavez), Si Mañana No Me Ves and Yo No Lloro Por Lloro Por Lloro shared her feelings about the new tour that will not only place her on the same stage with her mother, but will be a way to conclude her father's project.
“After everything I have lived through, I am sure that moving forward would be what my father would have wanted for my mother and me forever. So we will continue, with great sadness, yes, absolute, but only in this way can we go through the pain caused by your absence. Sharing with our beautiful audience in so many cities will be for us a commitment that we must not only respond to, but will also help us heal,” he wrote.
