Wild motojet attack on a woman in Mar del Plata to steal her wallet

It happened in broad daylight, in the Malvinas Argentinas neighborhood, when the victim was walking along a path carrying his shopping monkey

The images are brutal and give an account of the serious situation of insecurity in the province of Buenos Aires. This time, the setting was the Malvinas Argentinas neighborhood, in the city of Mar del Plata and in broad daylight.

The video, which is 35 seconds long and was captured by a house's security camera, shows the exact moment when a woman is approached by a motorcycle jet, who after shoving her and hitting her head on the floor steals her wallet and escapesb with the help of an accomplice who I was waiting for him on board a motorcycle.

Although the incident occurred on Thursday of last week, the filming transcended in the last few hours and went viral due to the violence that the offender exerts on the sample victim, who was walking along the sidewalk carrying a shopping monkey.

When the motojets, which were traveling in the opposite direction to the woman, warned that she was alone and helpless, they proceeded to attack and in less than half a minute they fulfilled their task.

While one was playing the bell, the other - wearing a yellow shirt - got off the motorcycle to perpetrate the robbery. When he found that the woman was reluctant to have her belongings stolen, there was a struggle between the two but eventually the woman was lying face down on the pasture of the sidewalk.

As the victim was carrying his wallet crossed, the malvivado had a little complicated theft but after several pushes and blows he was able to take it out and run away with the loot.

When the motorjets disappear from the scene, a neighbor is seen leaving her house to assist her and notify the police.

Faced with the rise in crime, the president of the Municipal Security Forum, Juan Manuel López, pointed to the lack of prevention and dialogue that the Ministry of Security has with neighbors.

López considered, before local media, that it is time to start working with security cameras since the issue of traffic is currently being addressed but those tools are not being used for prevention.

Although the Buenos Aires Minister of Security, Sergio Berni, said that “for the first time crime has been brought down sharply” and provided data that supported his statement, neighbors say there is a lack of more police presence in the neighborhoods.

Theft by motorjets is the most frequent and is not unique to Mar del Plata. In recent days, brutal attacks have also been committed in the Buenos Aires matches of Merlo and Moreno.

On March 21, a Buenos Aires police officer was wounded by four bullets after being assaulted by two motorcycle jets that tried to steal his motorcycle in the village of Cuartel V. After the confrontation, the criminals stole the statutory weapon from the victim and fled. The officer was left in serious condition.

As Infobae learned, the assailants made him get out of the vehicle and threatened him to give them the motorcycle. At that time, the man identified himself as a policeman and that's when he was shot. Two bullets hit the legs and the other two hit the thoracic region: one shot entered through the armpit and the other through the costal area and caused a hepatic burst.

At least ten motorjets participated in the event in Merlo, which were riding on five motorcycles to commit piranha thefts. In this case, the victim was a young delivery man when he was about to deliver an order on Bolivar Street, between Constitución and Rioja.

The assault took place in just 29 seconds. According to a video that went viral on the networks, which was caught on a security camera in one of the neighbourhood's homes, five motorcycles suddenly appeared on the scene with ten criminals - two per motorcycle - who surrounded him and pointed a gun on the victim's head.

In addition to stealing the vehicle he works in, the gang stole other belongings from him and quickly escaped the scene.
