Wall Street ends higher and tries to prolong last week's rally

The New York Stock Exchange concluded on Tuesday with a clear rebound against a backdrop of stabilizing oil prices and tensions on the bond market related to the prospects of rising interest rates.

According to the provisional results at the close, the Dow Jones index rose 0.74% to 34,807.86 points.

For its part, the technologically dominant Nasdaq climbed 1.95% to 14,108.82 units and the expanded S&P 500 index gained 1.13%, reaching 4,511.81 points.
