Although the news revolved around Boca's 1-0 victory over River in the Superclassic thanks to a goal by Colombian Sebastián Villa, some extra football issues remained at the center of the scene. On Monday, an operation ordered by the Public Prosecutor's Office for Mass Events carried out a raid on the Monumental to gather information about what happened during the match played on Sunday .

Some of the topics being investigated are excess capacity (in the previous one there was an avalanche in a sector of windlasses, so a group of people would have entered without tickets), pyrotechnics that were thrown from one of the upper grandstands (determine if they were inside the stadium or if they were admitted during the match) and the partners who attacked the Xeneize players when they retired from the field of play.

“Smoke pots, illuminating flares, smoke flares, packs of 'Strobe flare', and flares labelled 'Ikaros red rocket with parachutes for use on bridge boats, lifeboats and life rafts, 'were then hijacked in the Sivori grandstand,” said the Núñez club in a statement.

In Núñez they also explained that “64,023 people entered the stadium. Of these attendees, more than 97% entered with their own card duly authorized to access the match. This was possible thanks to the fact that for two years now there has been RiverID, the registration platform for Somos River members and members that validates identities with Renaper and allows each of them to be given a unique card where it is possible to upload ticket and pass data, offering convenience to those who come to the Stadium because they should not withdraw previously no tickets. This also discourages the resale and sale of apocryphal tickets because there are practically no tickets issued for the various parties.”

On the other hand, River also clarified that the records of the stadium's security cameras are being analyzed to determine who were the aggressors of the Boca campus. The millionaire institution has already warned that they will suspend for a year the partners, or members of Somos River, who are identified in such incidents.

The River Plate statement:

Similarly, the Prosecutor's Office was informed that the records of the Club's security cameras are being analysed to determine who was responsible for the attacks on Boca's players at the time they were leaving the field. As reported immediately after the match, members and members of Somos River who are identified as responsible for such incidents will be suspended for one year.

Club Atlético River Plate reports that today the staff of the Judicial Investigations Corps appeared at this institution by order of the Public Prosecutor Specialized in Mass Events, Dr. Celsa Ramirez, with a request for information related to the 20/3 match against Boca Juniors.

While in the Club's Operational Coordination Unit (UCO), the prosecution staff also requested authorization to carry out an eye inspection in the Sívori grandstand to obtain information or evidence about what happened during that match when flares were lit from that location and what was launched were apparently flares for maritime use. Although this measure was not included in the order, they were accompanied to that rostrum, which had been preserved for this purpose by the Club since the end of the match, without cleaning personnel entering the sector.

Smoke pots, illuminating flares, smoke flares, packs of “Strobe flares”, and flares labeled “Ikaros red rocket with parachute for use on bridge ships, lifeboats and life rafts” were then seized from this rostrum.

These findings came despite the fact that four hours before the match, the statutory Stadium Opening Inspection was carried out, together with inspectors from the Government Control Agency of the City Government and the personnel of anti-explosive brigades. During the meeting, strict control was carried out on all levels of the stadium, bathrooms, medical posts, boxes, press booths and desks, warehouses and other sectors affected by the performance of the match, without any prohibited or dangerous elements being found, after which a Start of Match Act was drawn up enabling the opening of the stadium.

It should also be noted that during the party operation, from the Operational Control Unit (UCO) -which has a system of unified cameras and image analysis monitors- the City Government police personnel who are in charge of it did not detect suspicious movements during the match.

On the other hand, with regard to the information requested by the Prosecutor's Office on the number of party attendees, it was reported that 64,023 people entered the stadium that day. This also discourages the resale and sale of apocryphal tickets because there are practically no tickets issued for the various parties.
