Peruvian actress Stephanie Cayo took a face for her friend Bruno Ascenzo, Peruvian director of the film “Until we meet again”, who has received hard critics for developing a romantic comedy in the beautiful landscapes of Cusco. Tired of the hard questions, the protagonist of the film decided to raise her voice of protest on her official Instagram account.

As a first point, the Cayo family member indicated that she cares little or nothing about the bad comments she may receive on the Internet. According to him, she suffered bullying at school and is already “used” to the attacks due to her role as an actress. Let's remember that she started in the world of acting at the age of 9.

“This is not new to me, all my life I have laughed because it has always seemed to me that if they talk about you they are behind you, and one should look forward. Laugh at what you like, I'll laugh at you. Even myself,” she wrote on her platform.

Lines below, Stephanie talked about her detractors on Twitter. Get to work, or make another film. Let's go! We do need that, more Peruvians doing beautiful things for our country. Incentivizing hatred among Peruvians must leave them a big void. Better start doing things for yourself,” advised the 33-year-old artist.

It was at that moment that the current couple of Maxi Iglesias asked for more respect for Bruno Ascenzo: “Leave my friend Bruno (Ascenzo) alone, who is a wonderful director and writer. I repeat, if you're going to talk, show me something you've done, that you sacrificed your life, fight for years and then we'll talk. Nobody gave us anything. Get to work, he added.

WHAT DID BRUNO ASCENZO SAY ABOUT THE CRITICISM?

Through his social networks, the renowned actor of “Mischief of the Heart” referred to the criticism that his film has received since its premiere on the platform of Netflix, on March 18 of this year. Far from taking it badly, Ascenzo assured that these serve him to continue growing as a director,

Thank you all for watching the film, for your good comments that make the effort worth and for the bad ones that help to continue growing and learning. Thank you for reading me, thank you for putting up with those who still do it and thank you for joining me since I was 13 years old and I started as an extra with the same enthusiasm that accompanies me today. Until we meet again. Thank you,” said the 37-year-old director.
