The “Heroes of Malvinas” kindergarten, located in the town of Ciudad Evita, Buenos Aires party of La Matanza, was the scene of the wave of insecurity that is experienced in different parts of the Conurbano. Yesterday, upon arriving at the educational establishment located in Silvia Toledo 918, the director of the school found that criminals entered the place, caused damage and took 35,000 pesos corresponding to the cooperator's collection.
Sources close to the file confirmed to Infobae that the robbery came to light this Monday morning, when the head of the school, Alejandra Romero, arrived at the scene and realized that criminals entered the courtyard, broke the fence and the glass of a window and proceeded to steal the sum collected by the cooperator and a TV.
According to police sources consulted by this medium, the situation was alerted by a 911 call. As a result, officers from the Eastern Substation of the Third Police Station in Ciudad Evita went to the scene and verified the veracity of the theft.
The images released on social networks also expose the damage inside the kindergarten, for which yesterday it remained closed. The robbers not only stole, but also vandalized school supplies, teaching materials and classroom furniture.
“From the fact, we set out to work together with the School Board to repair all the damage and allow this garden to be a safe place for the children who attend every day and so that families continue to trust the garden and continue to find a space for containment and education for this community,” said Jorge Gomez, Chief Inspector District 1, in dialogue with C5N.
Gómez warned that it is not the first that an educational institution in the area has suffered theft of this type, and attributed it to “the same insecurity that we experience throughout society.” However, he said that “the mayor (Fernando Espinoza) is concerned about the issue and is taking steps to reduce the number of crimes committed.”
The investigation involves decentralized UFI N°2, under the Judicial Department La Matanza.
Another example of the lack of control that is experienced in different parts of the province of Buenos Aires is the violent sequence that a 64-year-old man suffered, also in Ciudad Evita, to be approached by motorjets.
It all happened last Saturday at 8:30pm on Calle El Maitén at 200, and the wild episode was recorded by a security camera in the area. There, a neighbor aboard his black Peugeot 208 car was attacked by two criminals seconds after getting out of the vehicle. The victim, as you see in the images, wanted to open the trunk when he was suddenly surprised by the thieves.
When approached by criminals, the man threw the keys to the vehicle towards the middle of the block and ran away at full speed. The criminal pointed the gun at him, turned around and went straight to the street to look for the key ring, in order to complete the theft of the car.
But the situation took a resounding turn in a matter of seconds, because the neighbor, despite the risk that his reaction entailed, took some stones from the floor and started throwing them at one of the robbers. At that moment, seeing the victim's defense, the motojet shot him. In the video you can see the flash of the gun, but fortunately the shot did not hit the 64-year-old man.
Noting that the victim was not defensive, the thief realized that the assault was taking longer than planned and decided to escape without carrying out the robbery. He got on the motorcycle where his accomplice was waiting for him and both fled in an unknown direction, albeit with the keys to the car.
