No one is perfect and sometimes our flaws, weaknesses and fears can get in our own way, especially when it comes to finding love.
While we all know that, we don't always know what exactly is happening to us that prevents us from having a relationship.
It's hard to be totally objective about yourself. Especially when you don't believe what a personality quiz or personality test tells you.
But that's where this personality test comes into play, because in a matter of seconds, you'll discover why you're lonely and why there are difficulties in love relationships.
All you have to do is look at the image below, pay close attention to what you see first, and then scroll down to see how what you saw reveals why you're still alone.
No matter what your results are, the important thing is to know each other very well. So look at the image and the first thing you identify will give you the answer. Go to the bottom to find out the meaning.
1. If you saw the moon first:
If you saw the moon first, you feel lonely because tearing down your walls isn't easy for you.
You crave intimacy and believe it's an experience that will only make you a better person, but when it comes to lowering your defenses and letting other people in, you're just not that interested.
If you don't conquer this fear, you'll never be close to getting what you want, plain and simple.
2. If you saw the whale first:
Believe it or not, the whale indicates that you are lonely because you are always looking to be number one.
It's not that you're a selfish person, it's just that you have high expectations and plans for yourself and you know that loving sometimes means putting someone else's needs above your own.
You're just not there yet, but at least you know it.
3. If you saw the surfer first:
If you saw the surfer first, you feel lonely because you are afraid of being tied up.
For you, love is not something liberating, it is something scary and discouraging because it means giving up a part of who you are. When love starts to feel real, you start to start a plan to run away and not get hurt.
But don't run away, try to stay and you may find that lasting love is the greatest adventure of all.
ORIGIN OF PERSONALITY TESTS
The psychology of tests has developed the premises of the theoretical procedures for the recording of psychic qualities, which in part have remained valid until today. The renowned psychologist Cattel Mckeen (1890) is recognized as the founder of diagnostic tests, since with his book 'Mental Tests and Measurements' he has had the greatest influence on the development of methods.
Cattell, who also introduced the concept of 'testing', wanted to record the entire personality through a series of 10 simple experiments, right and left hand strength using the dynamometer, speed of reaction to tonal stimuli, associative speed in the denomination of 10 colors, etc.
These experiments and the numerous investigations of his students related to them were not very fruitful as they were based on a very primitive conception of the human psyche. Each individual quality of the person is examined in isolation, but what is examined is not suitable to represent the individual uniqueness of the personality or to represent one of its essential aspects.
