At the beginning of March, the Mexican singer, María del Sol, had to undergo knee surgery, because the synovial fluid or joint fluid, the one between the bones of the knees, wore out. After this, the 60-year-old histrionist spoke about the difficulties of her recovery and how her surgical intervention delayed her return to music after 7 years.

The interpreter of Un Nuevo Amor shared with TVyNovelas magazine that after her surgery, what has cost her the most in her recovery is to cope with the patience and pains derived from her knee procedure.

“My case was not life or death, but it was a complicated intervention, because the bone above was embedded in the bone below and there was no longer any cartilage. It is one of the most painful operations, because the knee is the hinge of the human body; they put titanium on me and I am in recovery. It is a process of great patience, resistance and waiting to be at one hundred percent; full recovery will take three months,” he said for the entertainment magazine.

The actress delved into what her doctor said and said that these types of interventions are very common for people her age. Later, the first female historist to present the theater melodrama GranDiosas together with Alicia Villarreal, María Conchita Alonso, Dulce, Janette, Angela Carrasco and Jannete commented that this intervention paused her EP on her return to music as a solo artist.

“Around seven years I hadn't released something completely new, we have been working on this album for just over a year now. The music that I sing and that I want to transmit are not fashion songs nor do they have fashion arrangements, so I'm not in a hurry. The lyrics, music and what I want to make known does not have time”, he stressed for TVyNovelas.

To conclude on her return to music with an independent production, the actress born in Guanajuato, pointed out that it has been difficult for her to return to the scene since no record company has wanted to support her, and despite this, the performer does not lower her arms and tries to produce her own content.

No record company supports me, and all of a sudden it was very interesting because it led me to produce the albums myself; this is the third independent production I have done. It is not an easy task,” argued the interpreter of Quiero tu vida .

''I'm like I'm just half an operadilla, over there on the knee. I just had surgery about a month and a half ago and you will say 'well, it's been a month and a half, 'but no, the knee is the hinge where all the weight falls and it has been... although I'm doing well, I'm in therapies,' 'he said for the program Imagen Televisión.

On that occasion, the actress commented that she is in physical therapies and that she also performs special exercises at home to make the recovery process faster and she sent a message to her followers to have routine medical check-ups to avoid complications in their health.

''As women I think it is important to have the checkups, which are very annoying, but it is not compared to not doing it, I recommend that all women get, because it is my turn, to do our checkups because it is better to be safe than sorry '', she concluded for First Hand.
