Two motorjets assaulted a couple when they arrived by car to a house of the Buenos Aires party in Avellaneda. The criminals threatened to kill their two children aged 3 and 1 to steal a phone. “Give me your cell phone or I'll kill you,” they told the parents. On Tuesday, both suspects were arrested, but the Justice released them in the last few hours because they are minors: they are 15 years old, according to police sources to Infobae.
“The truth is, it makes me feel helpless. And well, they are minors, what will be done to them, do nothing. If my son had been killed, what would happen? Those who steal, take things out easy, put together a handle for drugs, all they want is to get things out of people. It's a disaster. When I heard that they had been caught, I thought it was good; and they freed them. We are going to work on the matter and we are going to try to have their house raided to lock them up again,” said Damián Blasevich (31), father of the threatened children.
The robbery occurred last Sunday in Olavarría at 600, in the Crucesita neighborhood, in the south of Buenos Aires, when Damián, his youngest partner and son, arrived aboard a Ford Focus at the house of the young father's parents. As it was recorded on the security cameras that illustrate this note, Damián's mother opened the gate to them accompanied by the oldest son of the victims.
It was at that moment that the two criminals appeared on motorcycles at gunpoint. “Give me your cell phone or I'll kill you,” one of the thieves told Damián's partner, referring to his 3-year-old son who slept in the back seat of the car. She handed them her phone.
Then, he aimed at his mother, who had her other son in her arms, and also demanded her cell phone. After the woman's refusal, both criminals escaped aboard the motorcycle they were riding on.
The family quickly went to the local police station to make the relevant complaint. The agents of the 1st Police Station in Avellanada, using the film material provided by the victims, identified the criminals and captured them this Tuesday morning at the crossroads of Avenida Mitre and Dardo Rocha: they were on board a black CB 400 motorcycle.
The thieves were identified as E.O and T.C: both 15 years old. According to police sources, Infobae were hijacked a .32 caliber revolver not suitable for shooting, and a wallet containing the belongings of a woman who had been robbed a few hours earlier.
They also reported that the motorcycle on which the motojets were riding had been stolen a few days ago in the City of Buenos Aires, as it had an active kidnapping request.
“When they came, we thought he was going to take the car, so my wife went to take my son out. The thief asked for the cell phone. At that moment when he wants to take my son out, the one who was armed tells him to give me your cell phone, or he kills him here. There, my partner gave him the cell phone and he went on, he wanted another one, he pointed to my mother who was with my other son and then they ran away,” he told Infobae Damián.
When they notified the Juvenile Justice, from the Guarantee Court No. 2 of Lomas de Zamora, headed by Judge Mariano Alesandrini, they understood that while the investigation was proceeding, the suspects were released and released from prison.
