After almost two years of pandemic, measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19 in Peru have been relaxed. The authorities have prioritized that businesses can return to normal operation, to the point that the curfew was eliminated and the capacities were no longer measured by percentages and now request that the distance of one meter be maintained in closed places.
This has had a direct impact on live shows. For example, for some time now, outdoor events had a capacity of 100%, but now even with the necessary care, shows could be held in closed stages. It should be noted that one of the hardest hit areas is that of artistic events such as music and theater.
However, in recent weeks there has been an unreservoir of concerts. The effect of the lockdown has led to many pending shows taking place and this is how we have seen the announcement of shows by artists such as Karol G, Bad Bunny, Coldplay, among others. It is also striking that several of the concerts are already with all their tickets sold, which is known as sold out.
