A lot of buzz has generated the event starring several members of the group 'Blue Shields' at the Primada Cathedral of Colombia on the night of Sunday, March 20. In the middle of mass, a small group of hooded men headed by 'Simona', gave a short speech while a eucharist was taking place in the temple.
During her speech, the protester expressed a short message that was interrupted, on several occasions, by several people who were at the mass:
“Peace? What peace are we talking about? When we forget to love each other. The peace of the secular country of ideological impositions. The country that annihilates the hopes of the peoples. That weeps the blood of sisters and brothers”, said 'Simona', and after this video went viral, many reactions emerged on social networks; several users even shared a photo of her with several artists such as Santiago Alarcón, Julián Román and singer Adriana Lucia.
Precisely, the Cordovan woman took advantage of the reach she has on her Twitter profile to express her disagreement with the performance made by the protester, and at the same time denounced threats against her life and that of her newborn daughters, after the images captured during the national strike in April and May of the year became popular past.

“The performance in the church seems to me to be a mistake, unnecessary and I disagree. Now, for that to give them the right to insult me and mess with my NEWBORN daughters is disrespectful and sick,” said the singer and activist in the trill where she reproached those verbal attacks only for a few photos together with the member of the 'Blue Shields'.
“That they claim for photos is a joke,” she said in reference to those who questioned and threatened her.
In another trill, she replied to a user stating that even several figures with verified accounts have approached her to claim her for those photos, and added stating that the situation “is crazy!”
'Simona' and her performances against the national government and various media
Although his face is anyone's guess, his character has become famous. With this, at least three other acts of resistance have won him recognition in Bogotá, the enmity of some media, the disagreement of the authorities and the rejection of political leaders of the conservative sector, including President Iván Duque himself.
His most recognized demonstration is still valid in his social media profile image. With a purple animal print fabric collar that covered his face like a balaclava, and his megaphone, he stood at the fountain of the building where Semana magazine operates and dyed the water red, just two weeks after the outbreak of the 2021 national strike.

The photographer Mauricio Alvarado portrayed it and assured that it was a “performance to protest against the manipulation of information, violence and the repression of social protest”, which the magazine described as a “violent show”.
Another of her actions happened on January 11 of this year 2022, when she was one of the leaders of another protest action against government decisions. 'Simona' appeared on one of the turnstiles of the Transmilenio Marly station, wearing the same balaclava and the megaphone, to promote a massive colathon to the system in rejection of the increase that was beginning to take effect of 150 pesos.
