It could have been a tragedy what happened this Monday morning in City Bell: a formation of the Roca Line railroad rammed a car that tried to cross with the low barrier. The driver only suffered a blow to the head and the video about what happened was broadcast this afternoon.

In the images you can see what happened at the Güemes level crossing, in the city of La Plata. It was 7.37 when the formation of the Roca line left Ciy Bell station heading for La Plata and collided with the horn of the Volkswagen Gol, which wanted to cross the tracks in infringement.

The impact was on the right side of the VW Gol which, due to the violence of the crash, ended up on the opposite hand of the road, embedded against a pole.

Faced with this, personnel of firefighters, police officers and the SAME intervened, since the driver resulted in a skull trauma. He was transferred to the San José clinic in Villa Elisa. According to the Info White on Black portal, the 46-year-old driver told the cops he didn't see the low barriers.

After the accident, the service of the La Plata branch was limited between Constitución and Villa Elisa, from 7.37 to 10.40.

On March 8, a passenger train heading from Buenos Aires to Bahía Blanca derailed over the city of Olavarría, and 21 people were injured.

The accident occurred around 5.20 on Tuesday at half station Pourtalé, about 10 kilometers from Olavarría, where the formation stopped and then continued its journey towards the city of Bahía Blanca.

Olavarría train derailment

Formation No. 333 (with A916 locomotive), complete with 479 passengers on board, affected the first five wagons, of which at least one was overturned on the ground. Fire personnel from Olavarría Headquarters, SAME ambulances, Civil Defense and police personnel arrived at the scene.

The Undersecretary of Security of the Municipality of Olavarría, Mario Busto, said that the injured suffered only minor injuries. It is believed that there were more than a hundred passengers who suffered blows, cuts or injuries. Speaking to Radio Mitre, Mayor Ezequiel Galli said that, although the causes of the formation's mismatch were unknown, “it is supposed to be the state of the roads. It was an accident that could have been worse.”

The rest of the passage was completely evacuated and transferred by bus to the center of the city of Olavarría.
