Claudio Gabriel Rodríguez was 32 years old and was shot to death in the head in the Ituzaingó match, after being approached by two motorjets that shot him in cold blood, and they fled without stealing anything from him. Everything was recorded by a neighboring security camera: the killers took just 10 seconds to stop the motorcycle, kill and flee. The images are dramatic.

The tragedy for Claudio's family, who worked as a bricklayer, happened this Sunday, minutes before the Superclassic began to be played in the western area of the Buenos Aires Conurbano. The motive for the crime is still being investigated since the criminals did not steal anything from him.

It all started with a 911 call that alerted a man shot at the corner of Monroe and San Salvador. As Infobae learned, at the time of the crime, the victim was about ten blocks from his home. From what is seen in the video, the clock was at 18.53 when Rodriguez turned the corner and tried to continue his passage over San Salvador. It was only for a few seconds.

It was not yet 18.54 and it was a few minutes before the start of the Superclassic. At that time, Rodríguez was intercepted by the two motojets, who were on board a low-displacement black motorcycle. In the images you can see how one of them got out of the vehicle, walked towards it and, without saying a word, shot him and then flee the place with his companion without stealing anything from him.

It was the sound of the gunshot that alerted one of the neighbors on the block who immediately notified the police. Upon arriving at the scene, the troops of the 4th Police Station found Rodriguez lying on the floor with a shot in the head. “His backpack, which he carried on his back, was not stolen, neither the cell phone nor the wallet he had in his pants pocket,” a source close to the investigation told Infobae.

In communication with this media, the victim's brother maintained that it was not a reckoning but a robbery that could not be carried out . “Claudius was better than bread. I wanted it half the world. He worked as a bricklayer with his best friend. The house was being built with his wife and a few weeks ago school had started. I wanted to finish high school because I was working since I was 11 years old, like me,” Oscar Rodríguez confided to Infobae.

The case involves the prosecutor Patricio Ventricelli, in charge of the decentralized UFI Functional Instruction Unit No. 2 of Ituzaingó, who ordered the first tests at the scene of the murder. In addition, the Scientific Police found a 9-millimeter sheath that will be tested.

Meanwhile, this Monday the autopsy will be carried out in the Morón judicial morgue, although a preliminary report indicated that the shot hit the head and produced an entry and exit hole. The case was labeled “homicide”, the sources indicated.
