The goal scored by Paulo Dyabala this Sunday against Salernitana in Juventus's 2-0 victory for Serie A was not enough to calm the turbulent waters that run under the feet of the Argentine striker and the Turin leadership.
After the triumph, coach Massimiliano Allegri's words during the press conference rumbled in style: “I don't know if Paulo will be a Juventus player next season. It depends on the club, and I am together with the board.”
The doubts that pass through the head of the Italian coach go hand in hand with the information that the Italian press recently revealed when confirming that, after the meeting held by both sides this Monday, there was no renewal agreement.
The Argentine striker from Vecchia Signora will not renew his contract with the Turin club and will leave this summer (European) from the black and white club after seven years in which he has won five 'Scudettos', four Italian Super Cups and four Italian Cups.
According to the press from the old continent, a meeting of more than two hours took place this Monday in Continassa - the club's sports city - between representatives of Dybala and the Juventus authorities to resume talks for the renewal of the player, whose contract will expire next June but the parties will not they managed to agree.
Negotiations with the 10 of the Turin team had been dragging on for a while, when the footballer would have been put on the table a contract with figures that did not convince the striker and his environment.
However, despite the differences, the player and the club would have reached an agreement at first last October but the injuries of the former Palermo figure could have influenced Juventus' stance when it came to reconsidering the initial offer and proposing a different one, that the '10′ juventino would later have returned to reject.
With three months to go before the conclusion of the contract, everything seems to suggest that Dybala will leave the entity for free and on the lookout there would already be teams such as Inter Milan, Manchester United and English Chelsea, Barcelona or Atletico Madrid, who would be interested in taking over the services of the 28-year-old attacker.
On this subject and with the aim of downplaying it, Allegri said: “We also have Cuadrado, from Sciglio, Bernardeschi out of contract in June, it's not just Dybala.”
