Claudia Sheinbaum, head of government of Mexico City, posted through her social networks several unpublished photographs of the Felipe Angeles International Airport (AIFA) a few hours after it was inaugurated.

On her Twitter, the capital's president assured that this is an event of great historical significance in Mexico, and added four photographs with an AIFA face that had not been seen until now: at night.

In one of the photographs you can see the arrival at the airport, with a roundabout that keeps a perfectly lit plane in the center and in full takeoff. The area looks very well lit and long distance.

The other photographs begin with an outside and night view of the controversial control tower that was even said to be crooked. They complement two indoor shots that are probably part of the Control Tower, and a room inside the Airport, although Sheinbaum didn't quite specify it.

“The construction of the Felipe Ángeles International Airport, in less than three years, is a historic event for our country. This is what this impressive work looks like a few hours after it was inaugurated,” he wrote on his social networks.

The comments surrounding the publication were divided; on the one hand, those who referred to construction as a real feat for the people of Mexico, and another promise fulfilled by AMLO, and on the other, those who insulted and disqualified not only the airport, but also AMLO, Claudia Sheinbaum and Q4.

Recently, the head of government of Mexico City had already taken a position on the upcoming inauguration of AIFA, because during her press conference, she said who was able to visit the premises and sent a message to the detractors of AMLO: “they are going to be left with the square eye”.

The capital's president asked all Mexicans to visit the airport, noting that in just three years several museums, hotels, schools and hospitals were built around the site. “A city was practically built plus an airport,” he said.

“I invite detractors to visit the Felipe Ángeles International Airport, to realize with their own eyes how magnanimous this work is, how impressive it was, what it took, how long it took, because they are really going to be left with the square eye. It is an impressive work, really something extraordinary, extraordinary, because it is not only the Airport itself,” she said in front of the reporters and reporters who gathered.

His statement came after Andrés Manuel López Obrador (AMLO) accused that there is a campaign by his opponents who seek to “muddy” the construction of AIFA, “carried out in record time by the Federal Government”, by manipulating information and disseminating that it is very difficult to attend the airport by land, by car, and even on public transport from Mexico City.

“We are going to report on how to get to the new Felipe Ángeles Airport, because now that is the campaign against, that it will take a week to get there. (...) That there is no misinformation or manipulation, it is such an important work that our adversaries want to muddy it,” said the president.
