After the increase in withholdings, the Government reopened exports of oil and soybean meal

This was announced by the Under-Secretariat for Agricultural Markets, which reports to the Ministry of Agriculture. The measure came into effect at 00:00 hours today

After the government announced an increase in the rate paid by withholding exports of soybean oil and flour last weekend, yesterday the Undersecretary of Agricultural Markets, which is under the Ministry of Agriculture and led by Javier Preciado Patiño, officially announced the reopening of the exports of the above-mentioned by-products. The measure came into effect at 00:00 hours today.

It should be remembered that the Register of Exports of Foreign Sales (DJVE) in both areas had been closed on Sunday, March 13. Then last Saturday, a decree published in the Official Gazette announced a two-point increase in oil industry retentions and one percentage point for biodiesel. The objective is with the additional funds that will be generated by the collection from the increase in withholdings, a trust was formed to subsidize wheat. A measure that is not yet regulated.
