After the fall due to the slightest difference in the classic with Newell's, coach Cristian Kily González left his post at the head of Rosario Central , a team that occupies the lowest positions in the table in Zone B of the Professional League Cup (LPF).
In a brief statement, the Arroyito entity reported — almost five hours after the match ended — the departure of the technical director, without realizing whether it was by common agreement or, literally, a request that he step aside.
“The club thanks Kily (Cristian González) for the work done during 68 games at the helm of our first team,” the document stressed. He continued: “During his coaching cycle, Kily has accompanied an institutional project that prioritized the growth of our youth, many of whom have taken their first steps under his leadership and who are today the present of our professional team.”
“We wish Cristian González every success in his professional career,” the text concluded.
According to what Télam was able to report with sources from the rogue entity, the 47-year-old strategist, “was left between the ropes, after losing the classic and because, for the first time, people spoke out against him on the court”. “After a meeting he held with the leaders, the coach commented that he felt strongly enough to reverse the situation, but the leaders already had the decision made,” said one of those close to the rogue club.
