After the disaster that resulted from the Jamming Festival that would take place in Ibague during this March holiday holiday, several people have jumped off the boat before drowning with it. However, Mrs. Paola Moreno, one of the people who are being persecuted for this reason, left Jamming before the pandemic and the scandal.

Some of those who did have to face the failure of the event, which had more than 150,000 tickets sold and invited numerous microentrepreneurs to sell at its trade fair, are still missing. For example, since Friday, the whereabouts of Alejandro Casallas, the owner of Casa Babylon and visible head of Buena Vibra Eventos, have been unknown. It is also not known where Andrea Casallas, Alejandro's sister and lawyer for the company, is.

Some didn't run away. The former press chief of Buena Vibra Eventos, Consuelo Restrepo, resigned from her post through a press release and promised to find ways to help those affected for the failed event.

For his part, Mr. Luis Casallas, father of Andrea and Alejandro, stayed in Playa Hawaii and gave his face to the owner of the spa until he was detained by the Ibagué Police. The gentleman remains in detention until his children show up and the investigation goes ahead.

Apart from these people, someone else received attacks, defamation in the media and threats on social networks, despite not being involved in organizing the 2022 Jamming Festival. This is Paola Moreno, the ex-wife of Alejandro Casallas.

Some well-known media in the country disseminated a part of Paola's life story. Of course, it's true that she and Casallas were married. It is also true that she and her former partner were founders of the Casa Babylon nightclub in 2004.

Paola Moreno and Alejandro Casallas also created the Jamming Festival in 2011, a traveling music event focused on reggae that grew bigger and more popular with each passing year.

However, the couple broke up in 2012 and she began to separate more and more from what was built with Casallas. The divorce became official in 2016, the year in which she also retired from the Jamming organization.

In 2018, Paola Moreno opened her own business: the Bonggo nightclub, which still operates today. With his company running, he also retired from Casa Babylon in 2020.

After the scandal caused by the 2022 Jamming, Paola had to publish a press release on her personal networks to inform the community that she is divorced from the now-defunct Alejandro Casallas and his businesses.

“• Since then I have remained oblivious to the administrative, operational, commercial and other decisions of the Jamming Festival and Casa Babylon.

• Therefore, I am not responsible for the postponements that the Jamming Festival has had since 2020; nor do I know the mechanisms that the organization has for refunding money, payment of suppliers and other obligations acquired.

In view of the foregoing and having expressed the above clarifications, I reiterate that I have no link with Mr. Alejandro Casallas and that I have not been part of the Jamming Festival or Casa Babylon, since 2016 and 2020 respectively”.

Now that the misunderstanding has been cleared up, the next step that the authorities must take is to find those who are responsible and demand real solutions from them for the people affected by their actions.
