Almost 70 years after the death of Jorge Negrete, the rumor that he had had a son with Fanny Kaufman, better known in the film industry as Vitola, was revived. It was Humberto Elizondo himself who spoke about the alleged unrecognized paternity of Charro Cantor, shared the meaning it has in his life and told the answer his mother gave him.

During the talk, the entertainment journalist questioned his guest about the rumor that spread among the public during the last century and remains valid as part of a legend involving two stars from the Golden Age of Mexican Cinema. According to rumors, Humberto Elizondo would be the unrecognized son of Jorge Negrete and Vitola due to his resemblance to the late actor and singer.

In this regard, the native of Saltillo said that when he was 42 years old, the same age as the protagonist of Two Types of Care when he died after spending several days in a coma from complications in his health resulting from liver cirrhosis caused by hepatitis C that he suffered in his youth, they had a great physical resemblance to the degree of be recognized as an adopted child by his relatives.

“Jorge Negrete for me is an icon, for me he is an example, a man who at the most important moment of his career left everything for his colleagues and dedicated himself only to ANDA, he didn't do it, it was done.
