According to rumors, Humberto Elizondo would be the unrecognized son of Jorge Negrete and Vitola due to his resemblance to the late actor and singer.

In this regard, the native of Saltillo said that when he was 42 years old, the same age as the protagonist of Two Types of Care when he died after spending several days in a coma from complications in his health resulting from liver cirrhosis caused by hepatitis C that he suffered in his youth, they had a great physical resemblance to the degree of be recognized as an adopted child by his relatives.
