After Julio Scherer Ibarra, former legal adviser to the presidency, denounced an alleged persecution of him by Alejandro Gertz Manero, head of the Attorney General's Office (FGR), and Olga Sánchez Cordero, president of the Senate's board, the latter has already ruled on the matter.

It was through her Twitter account that the former Secretary of the Interior (Segob) indicated that she has a clear conscience and that she will not fall into “the game” “to serve as a distractor”, referring to phrases proclaimed by President Andrés Manuel López Obrador.

In addition, he wrote that the best thing is to let the bodies of administration and law enforcement do their work.

“For my part I consider this topic closed. Let the Prosecutor's Office and the Judiciary do their job. Apart from the law, nothing; above the law, no one,” he added.

And this Saturday, the cover of the magazine Proceso entitled “It's time to talk” is dedicated to a text written by Julio Scherer in which he denounces that the retired minister had launched an investigation against him into her activities and her relationship with firms such as that of Rivera Gaxiola, Kalloi, Fernández, Del Castillo, Quevedo, Lagos and Machuca, as well as the law firm Araujo, González, Peimbert, Robledo and Carrancá Abogados, among others.
