President Andrés Manuel López Obrador (AMLO) and journalist and producer Epigmenio Ibarra released the documentary about Felipe Ángeles International Airport (AIFA) this Friday, March 18, which prompted different reactions on social networks.

The characters of the opposition bloc soon expressed criticism and mockery of this project, which shows the process by which the new great work of the Fourth Transformation (Q4) was built over the course of two and a half years that the work lasted.

Víctor Trujillo, a communicator and a strong rival of the current federal administration, issued a sarcastic comment from his Twitter account to mock General Gustavo Ricardo Vallejo Suárez, in charge of the group of engineers from Santa Lucia who build the AIFA, because in the video he shared he can observe talking to the statue of Felipe Angeles.

Tomorrow I am going to show up with the Green Indians to place myself under their very appreciable orders... if I had known,” wrote the creator of the character Brozo.

For his part, influencer Chumel Torres also shared these seconds of the documentary “Felipe Angeles International Airport, a work of the people” and shared an acid tweet against the staff of the Secretariat of National Defense (Sedena).

These were not the only comments of these two characters against AMLO, Q4 and Santa Lucia airport. At first, the host of El Pulso de la República compared this project with Rosalia's new album, released on March 18, and hinted that both were not very good.

“Rosalia's new album is the Santa Lucia airport of records,” Chumel Torres wrote.

For its part, Trujillo also referred to the air taxis that López Obrador announced, with routes from Polanco to AIFA. “No, but let me tell you about air taxis from Polanco...”, was the message that accompanied the cover of the weekly Zeta Tijuana that highlighted the more than 110,000 deaths during the president's six-year term.

Social media users did not pass up these comments and shared their opinion about it. Most of the responses to Chumel's tweet recalled different publications by the influencer in which he assured that AIFA, and other 4Q megaprojects, would never be finished.

While netizens who were present in Trujillo's message dedicated themselves to criticizing the soldiers, as well as sharing different famous statues that General Vallejo would talk to if he had them facing.

The documentary by Epigmenio Ibarra narrates the important participation of the Ministry of National Defense in the construction of Felipe Ángeles International Airport.

The construction of this new project was mostly carried out by military engineers, who shared their testimony on camera and said they were very happy and honored by the opportunity to participate in the project.

There were around 140,000 employees of the Ministry of National Defense who now have professional training and experience for having worked on the construction of the new AIFA.

López Obrador thanked the dedication and workforce put into this project, as well as the importance of the federal agency as an institution, since, he stressed, although it was known of its professionalism in health matters, not much was known about the military engineers whom he described as “exceptional” and “extraordinary”.
