Sao Paulo is the financial capital of Brazil and the most populous city in the country, but it is not usually appreciated as a tourist destination. That is beginning to change. The southern megalopolis is a cultural hub that combines attractive shopping outings and places of diverse interest.

Examples include Ibirapuera Park, the lung of the city, which was chosen by The Guardian as one of the best in the world, with three of the most outstanding museums in the region, the MAC, the MAM and Afro-Brazil; the Pedro Alvares Cabral Vila Mariana Avenue, the most important artery in Brazil; and the historic center, one of the most visited areas. All this to be enjoyed on foot, but it deserves to be appreciated from above and for that the show will be assured from the comfortable terrace, with a bar with a 360° view and the high-rise rooms of the Tivoli Mofarrej São Paulo hotel, which offers a unique view from the air.

The wide variety of cultural venues in São Paulo includes a great cultural program, for all tastes: museums, theaters, gastronomy and art galleries. Nearby is the Tivoli Mofarrej São Paulo, which provides its guests with the comfort of a complete experience of the city.

This urban oasis is located next to Trianon Park, close to museums such as the acclaimed Assis Chateaubriand Art Museum, theaters, restaurants and a few meters from the traditional Paulista Avenue.

With an exclusive view of Alexandre Gusmão Square and Trianon Park, in 2016 the hotel inaugurated its Park Suite with 200m² divided into three different rooms: a master suite, a twin suite and living room, TV room with home theater, office with library, dining room and wine cellar, among other details that bring luxury, comfort and functionality to the suite. It also has the largest presidential suite in Latin America, which has 750 square meters and was completely renovated presenting all the Brazilian bossa in the decoration.

Tivoli Mofarrej São Paulo also offers gastronomy and cocktails at The Must Bar and its unmissable 360º central bar overlooking the wonderful skyline of Sao Paulo: the SEEN. The varied cuisine is under the command of award-winning chefpreneur Olivier da Costa and drinks are made by barman Heitor Marin. Among the attractions of the area is the Museum of Art of Sao Paulo (MASP). This is the most important art space in the southern hemisphere, with more than 10,000 pieces from all continents. Inaugurated in 1947, the building was designed by Lina Bo Bardi, who placed the main body on four pillars and left the first floor 8 meters above the ground, while a space of 74 meters was left between the side supports. On the way back, Mira , the old Mirante 9 de Julho: reopened in 2015, the viewpoint brings together an art gallery, cinema, bar and restaurant, as well as an excellent view.

Paulista Avenue, with its almost 3 kilometres long, conquers travelers thanks to its gastronomic and cultural options. Built at the end of the 19th century, it was a residential stronghold of the city's aristocracy, as well as an important financial center during the 20th century. From 2016 onwards, on Sundays it is converted into a large park, with antiques fair, musical performances and various dining options. From 10 to 18 it is closed for cars, while pedestrians, skaters and cyclists move freely.

On the opposite block, on the one hand, Casa das Rosas , a mansion designed in 1930 that was transformed into a museum dedicated to poetry and literature. Following the path, you will find the Sesc, a space that promotes exhibitions and shows, with its viewpoint as a most attractive point.

Always on the same avenue, although about 12 blocks from the last mentioned sites, the Fiesp Cultural Center, which has exhibition spaces, bookstore, theater and a garden designed by the Brazilian landscape designer Roberto Burle Marx. There it is worth visiting the Balaio restaurant, offering natural and healthy food with vegetarian options.

If what you are looking for is a green space to disconnect. The Trianon Park decorates Avenida Paulista with almost 50,000 m² of tropical vegetation, remnant of the Atlantic Forest. At the same time, Ibirapuera Park offers three lakes, two museums and other cultural spaces: free concerts and a light and water show in December, on the occasion of the Christmas holidays.
