League of Legends: Isurus defeated XTEN and advanced in the LLA playoffs

Yesterday the League of Legends Latin America League playoffs began. For the first round of the lower bracket, the two lowest-ranked teams in the regular phase that won the qualification: XTEN and Isurus, faced all-or-nothing. The Shark won 3-1, which gave him the pass to the next round, while the robots came in sixth place in this Apertura.

Isurus came as the lowest ranked, after finishing 5-9 in the regular phase. XTEN (6-8) had the role of favorite in the series, since in the head-to-head he had won both crosses.

The first game started with the bots taking the lead, as in the initial ten minutes they put 2-1 in casualties, added to the herald in their favor, which gave them the lead in gold. Although XTEN was up, the difference never extended too much, as they won in gold but the Shark kept the dragons. In the 20th minute there was a break, when both teams met in the infernal dragon and it was Isurus who achieved the extermination without any death, so they completely reversed the process of the match. In almost 33 minutes, and through a breakthrough through the middle lane, they were left with the first point.

The next game started again with a slight lead in gold for the bots in the early game. At 12 minutes, a teamfight in the lower lane ended 3-1 in favor of Isurus, which put them ahead. A fight for a dragon in 22 minutes ended 3-1 for XTEN, who also won the first Baron Nashor, tipping the scales in his favor. Although the bots had all the advantage, the Shark got a Baron in the 39th minute, whose bonus allowed them to push through the center until they made 2-0 in the series.

The third game started with a lot of action: Isurus scored 6-5 in casualties in just 10 minutes. At 21, a clash went 3-1 in favor of the robots put them ahead by about 2,000 gold. Another key point came a few minutes later, when a teamfight for the Baron leaned to the XTEN side by 4-2, which resulted in a difference of 5,000 gold. The pressure became intense in the lower lane, until at 33 minutes, they got the next Baron to use their bonus and settle the game.

The Shark came out with the knife in the fourth game, as in just 10 minutes they got 6-2 in murders and destroyed a tower, so they got almost 5,000 gold apart. The advantage was maintained throughout the entire process of the match, and it was even growing. Although XTEN endured with their base almost completely destroyed, they gave in after 36 minutes, when the series was defined 3-1.

In this way, Isurus went to round 2 of the lower key, where he awaits the rival with the worst seeding to fall into the upper one. Today at 17 (AR) Rainbow7 and Estral will face each other to continue this phase of the championship.
