Festival Jamming presented the procedure for the return of money from ballots

Through their social networks, the organizers of the Jamming festival published a statement explaining the process that must be followed to request a refund of their money, as well as other options for replenishment, following the cancellation of the event that was scheduled to take place during this holiday holiday in Ibagué (Tolima) .

In the letter, the company Buena Vibra Eventos EU indicated that people can change their ballot to attend any of the private events they offer in that company, among which is the presentation of Vicentico, also vocalist of Los Fabulosos Cadillacs, who will perform in the Colombian capital on May 21 at the Royal Center Theatre.

They also have the option of going to the Green Enanitos concert that will be held on the same stage on October 1, an event that also had to be rescheduled in 2020 as a result of the pandemic of the new coronavirus sars-cov-2.

In that event company they reported that they could also change the ballots for other events that they will hold during this year and that they would be announced soon.

As for the return of money, they indicated that they will be governed by article 5 of Decree 818 of June 4, 2020 as to the deadlines they set for monetary return.

“To confirm the decision, the customer must write an email to info@jamming.com.co sending all his data (full name, identity document, city, telephone number, photo of the ballot, value and payment method used for the purchase) and state the decision that was ultimately chosen,” they said in the statement.

Finally, they indicated that the deadline for sending this information was 30 March, as well as reiterating that the massive cancellation of the artists who were going to show led to the failure of the festival to take place.

Superindustry announces that it will open research

The Superintendency of Industry and Commerce announced this Friday that it will open an administrative investigation against the organizers of the 2022 Jamming Festival for the failure to submit information required by the entity.

This decision is known hours after the organizers of the event canceled the day before the doors of the stage set up at Playa Hawaii Recreation Park in the Tolimense capital were opened, which generated hundreds of complaints against the organizers by citizens from different parts of the country, foreigners.

“On the occasion of the information requests made to the company 'Buena Vista Eventos E.U. ' , the Superindustry will open an administrative investigation for non-compliance with instructions by failing to submit the information required since March 11 from the streams, as well as for failing to attend or attend the working table urgently convened by this authority for March 14 causing harm to consumers ”, said the entity.

The announcement also corresponds to the request of the authority that sought to prevent possible damage to the attendees of this concert due to some of the changes that had been announced by the organizers in front of the event, in which days prior to the total cancellation, which was in fact known by the Mayor's Office of Ibagué, and not directly by the organizers, it was rumored that it was not going to take place.

It also asked to verify the legal consequences by announcing the cancellation of this event one day before it took place, in order to determine whether there was a violation of the legal budgets for consumer protection, and at the same time requested to issue requests from the company 'Operaciones y Servicios Turísticos S.A.S' who are the owners of the park in which the concert was to be held, as well as the Mayor's Office of Ibagué.
