Copa Libertadores draw: day, time and channel to meet the rivals of Alianza Lima and Sporting Cristal

The event will take place on March 25 in Asunción, Paraguay. The debut of both teams will be the week of April 06.

Alianza Lima and Sporting Cristal are soon to debut in Copa Libertadores. Both teams have not been regular in the 2022 Liga 1, but the Copa Libertadores is another story and this year's goal is to leave a good image internationally. The organization confirmed the date, time and place of the draw to know the rivals they will have in the group stage. The drums are already confirmed.

The venue will be the CONMEBOL Convention Center, in Luque, Paraguay. Everything will start at 10:00 a.m. (Peruvian time) and the squads will meet their first rivals, where everyone will fight to be present in the single final at the Monumental Isidro Romero Carbo stadium, in Guayaquil, Ecuador. The channel that will broadcast the event will be broadcast on DirecTV, Fox Sports and ESPN.

HOW TO PLAY THE GROUP STAGE

The 32 participating teams will be placed in eight groups of four teams each and only the first two will go to the round of 16 of the international tournament. Six games are played all against everyone back and forth. The third of each group will go to the round of 16 of the Copa Sudamericana.

WHEN WILL ALIANZA LIMA AND SPORTING CRISTAL PLAY

There is still no exact date for the Peruvian teams' debut in Copa Libertadores, but the weeks in which each match of the group stage will be played. The debut of both squads will be the week of April 06, while everything will end the week of May 25.
