Colombia Tierra de Atletes is warming up to be in the Per Sempre Alfredo competition this March 20, 2022, which will complete its 2nd edition and where some World Tour teams have also registered.

As is customary, Colombian cyclists enjoy great fame in Europe and other parts of the world due to their high quality on the bike at a competitive level. This has not only made them look at them to sign them in the most important teams such as Egan Bernal, Nairo Quintana, Rigoberto Urán or Fernando Gaviria, to name a few, but it also makes the coffee teams invite them to different races.

For this occasion, the race will feature three top-level squads such as the UAE Team Emirates, Bora Hansgrohe and the Bike Exchange, while the rest of the squads are divided between pro continental and continental.

On the continentals, the Colombia Tierra de Atletes team is counted, which will be led by Barranquilla sprinter Nelson Soto, who has already had experience running in Europe and Germán Darío Gómez, a runner who has already shown conditions for this type of competitions, being also the under 23 national champion. Luis Alfonso Cely will guide the squad in every step it takes from the technical side.
