The new season of Al Fondo Hay Sitio is just around the corner. The hit series that lasted a total of eight seasons will feature the return of iconic characters, including Joel González. Erick Elera, actor who gave life to the remembered 'Child with a Face of Fish', gave details about the return of the TV series.
In an interview for América Espectáculos, the singer said that the recordings of Al Fondo Hay Sitio will begin in April. Recall that this information had already been confirmed by Adolfo Chuiman, actor who played Peter McKay, the butler of the Maldinis.
“We started recording the other month and in a couple of months the series will air. I'm not nervous, I'm happy because I want to get into character again and give everything about myself,” Elera commented at the start.
On the other hand, the national actor pointed out that his wife Allison Pasto r keeps him on a strict diet, since he wants to regain the weight he had when he recorded the last season of the TV series.
“There is always a little bit of diet and exercise. The idea is to return as in those times and I am seeing scenes to return in character, ” Elera said.
WHAT WILL HAPPEN TO JOEL GONZÁLEZ IN THE NEW SEASON?
Although he didn't say much, the actor explained that the character of Joel González will surprise with his occurrences in the new season that will soon be broadcast on the América Televisión signal. “There are so many things to do. Imagine, today... Joel is going to return recharged,” he said.
It is important to note that to date it is unknown whether Al Fondo Hay Sitio will touch on the subject of the COVID-19 pandemic. Let's take into account that De Vuelta al Barrio, its predecessor series, recreated the reality that many people live in one of its seasons, since characters wore masks and maintained social distancing.
On the other hand, many fans of Al Fondo Hay Sitio hope to know what happened to the children of Joel and Fernanda de las Casas. In the final episode, the couple became parents of twins, whom they named Doris and Nemo.
WILL NATANIEL SÁNCHEZ RETURN TO THE BACKGROUND IS THERE ROOM?
Nataniel Sánchez (Fernanda de las Casas) informed through his social networks that he will not participate in the new season of Al Fondo Hay Sitio due to the commitments he has in Spain, where he now lives.
“I am not going to be in Al Fondo Hay Sitio again, if it returns to Peruvian television. I don't know if the project is going to happen or not. I don't know what they're going to do. For my part, I have commitments already stipulated here,” he said when the ninth season was not yet confirmed.
In an interview with Infobae, Gustavo Bueno, remembered for his role as Gilberto Collazos, left open the possibility of his return, including that of Mayra Couto (Grace Gonzales). In turn, he denied Andrea San Martín's participation as Fernanda's replacement.
“There is always the possibility that some will rejoin later... In the case of Nataniel Sánchez, she is in Spain, she is very excited about some songs that she has already formed there, but it is not always good to depend on the things that come to you in a country that is not yours,” he said.
