In the midst of the investigation by the Attorney General's Office in Buga, a spoken portrait was made of the alleged perpetrator of the murder of Kelly Johana Tamayo, who was attacked with sticks and stones until he was killed. It generated ridicule because they qualified it as a school drawing.
Tamayo was killed in events that occurred on January 30 in the sector of the Parque Lineal El Vergel de Buga, Valle del Cauca.
The Metropolitan Police published a portrait that, despite the seriousness of the news, caused more than one mockery. It is a black and white drawing of a man with undefined features.
However, the authorities say that he is a man between 25-26 years of age, dark skin, thin build, 1.70 tall, vallecaucano accent, deviated partition and mobilizes on a black or dark blue RX 115 motorcycle.
This spoken portrait generated comments found on social networks, because many described them as a school drawing, given the lack of features to identify the alleged feminicide.
For information leading to the identification, prosecution and capture of this subject, the authorities also offered a reward of up to 30 million pesos.
The case caused a commotion in the city of downtown del Valle. The woman was found by a group of athletes last Sunday, January 30, when they passed through the El Vergel Biosaludable Park, in front of the Palacé Battalion, her half-naked and bloodstained body was among a scrub near the Guadalajara River.
With the passing of hours after the discovery, the authorities were able to identify the victim, his relatives and find some background on what possibly caused the woman's death. First of all, it became known that the victim was 26 years old and her name was Kelly Johana Tamayo Bohorquez, mother of four minors.
After routine procedures to identify the body, it was determined that Tamayo had injuries to his body caused by beating with stones and sticks. In addition, there are two hypotheses about his arrival in the scrub in front of the Palacé Battalion: that he fell there while fleeing his perpetrators and died because of the serious injuries, or that the aggressors threw his body there.
The National Police announced that a specialized intelligence and judicial police group had been set up in coordination with the Office of the Attorney General of the Nation to identify those responsible for the murder and determine the motives for the assault against women, to determine whether the case should be treated as femicide.
Colonel Nelson Dabey Parrado Mora, commander of the Valle del Cauca Police Department, assured that there is also an active reward for “engaging citizens who provide us with information that allows us to identify, identify and capture those responsible for this insane event.”
Alexandra Bohorquez, the victim's aunt, spoke to Noticias Caracol about the details of Kelly Johana's life and even hinted that the woman was at risk because of an ex-partner she had. About the attack, the aunt explained that “they hit her on the head with rocks and sticks, they dragged her, because you can see the marks of where she was, surely she was struggling with that person”.
