Violent clash in Palermo: lost control and crashed into a parked truck

In the midst of the rain that began at dawn in the City of Buenos Aires, several neighborhoods were the scene of traffic accidents. The first one took place in Palermo, where there was a violent clash that, despite the force of the impact, left no injuries. Police sources told Infobae that it happened after five o'clock in the morning at the corner of Cordoba and Dorrego Avenue, where a gray Peugeot 3008 car lost control and buried itself against the back of a parked truck.

When personnel from the 15-A Neighborhood Police Station of the City arrived, they met with the driver, who admitted that he allegedly lost control as a result of the wet floor. For now, it was not reported whether the reason was because he fell asleep or if he was under the influence of alcohol. The sources consulted by this medium indicated that a doctor from the SAME conducted a clinical check on the driver and concluded that there was no need to transfer him to a hospital.

The images of the incident that Infobae accessed reflect the violence of the clash. According to what could be seen, the smaller vehicle collided in such a way that the windshield was completely destroyed and by a few centimeters, its owner avoided being injured. In the filming, recorded by a camera of the Buenos Aires government, it was seen how the driver had time to react but for some reason he went straight to the truck. After a few hours, the Peugeot was removed and traffic returned to normal shortly before the start of rush hour.

Another accident occurred in Caballito. The place, the corner of Directorio Avenue and Miró Street. There a car also lost control and crashed. According to the images that were observed thanks to the input of social media users, the vehicle ended up with the hood open and the troops were damaged. According to the first data, there were no injuries either.

For its part, on 9 de Julio Avenue at the intersection with Juncal, another road incident was reported in the direction of the Constitución neighborhood. This is almost the same place where yesterday the incredible episode was recorded in which a SAME helicopter landed in the middle of the avenue and flew everything around it. He even broke some glasses and plates from the local confectionery shops. Similarly, in Humahuaca at 4350, Buenos Aires neighborhood of Almagro, half the block is obstructed by the fall of a tree in the middle of the rain. They recommend circulating with caution.

The morning accident was not only confined to the scope of the Federal Capital. At kilometer 24 of the La Plata-Buenos Aires highway, in the direction of the City, another accident took place where -for the time being- no injuries were reported. Finally, in the West Access, at kilometer 17, at the height of the Buenos Aires town of Haedo, there was another clash. This time, the protagonists were two motorcyclists.

As for the weather, it should be borne in mind that the National Weather Service (SMN) is anticipating a day with a maximum of 20 degrees for the City of Buenos Aires and its surroundings for this Friday, while storms and isolated rains are expected throughout the day.

By Saturday, the sky will be mostly cloudy, while there will be 10 degrees low and the maximum will reach 22 degrees.
