As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic around the world, the government of Mexico City maintains the prevention of the disease with the application of vaccines. Given this, the new dates for placing booster doses were announced starting next week.

Eduardo Clark García, director general of Digital Government of the Digital Agency for Public Innovation of the CDMX, reported that for this day of the national vaccination plan, two locations will be taken into account.

In this regard, anyone who is missing a vaccine or has not yet received one, must attend on Wednesday, March 23, Thursday 24 and Saturday 26 of the same month.

The vaccination units were placed in two different areas of the CDMX, which were selected by age and where more than 4 different vaccines will be considered, depending on which one corresponds.

Thus, the epidemiological traffic light will continue at a green light (low contagion alert) from the following Monday, as Eduardo Clark García, director general of Digital Government of the Digital Agency for Public Innovation of the CDMX, announced during a press conference.

“Fortunately, in all the indicators we monitor, the improvement continues in CDMX. That is why we received a notification from the Mexican government that we continue on the indicators that put us on the green light. We're at 3.5 points, it's the lowest score we've had in the entire pandemic.”

According to the statistics he presented, in the case of CDMX there were 355 people hospitalized at yesterday's cut-off. “We have had a downward trend in recent days. We are also very close to our historic low, which was the last week of December, when we reached 299,” he said.

Regarding daily hospital admissions, he reported that for 7 days, CDMX reached “historic lows”.
