The wait came to an end. After two years without Lollapalooza in Argentina due to pandemic restrictions, today at noon the party will start that will gather more than 100,000 fans a day. From 11.30 onwards, the 100 shows will begin to take place for three consecutive days.
The festival's line-up is made up of artists and bands such as Miley Cyrus, Foo Fighters, The Strokes, A$AP Rocky, Martin Garrix, Doja Cat, Machine Gun Kelly and Jane's Addiction, among the most popular artists.
Since its first edition in Argentina in 2014, the magic of the Lollapalooza experience has offered a multiplicity of activities within the framework of the nature of the San Isidro Racecourse: live shows by today's most resonant international and national artists; LollaFood, to enjoy the gastronomic avant-garde in a single place, Rock & Recycle and Green Spirit to learn new sustainability tools and continue to motivate awareness for the care of our environment and our quality of life, Kidzapalooza, the leisure space for children, among other activities created to make the festival an experience unforgettable and surpassing.
Medidas Sanitarias
Faced with the health context, in order to be part of the festival, those people over 13 years old who attend the seventh edition of Lollapalooza Argentina must have the Covid Free Pass with a complete vaccination schedule. It will be necessary to check at least two doses applied, having received the last dose at least two weeks before the start of the festival.
Entradas
One of the most innovative achievements of Lollapalooza is to have resignified the concept of entry. You no longer enter with a ticket but with the famous bracelets. A different one for each day, all with different colors and illustrations. It is enough to lean them against the reader and the access windlass is enabled.
They are the only valid element to enter the property and everyone must arrive with their bracelet placed on their right hand, well adjusted with the chip facing up. With the three-day pass, it is requested not to withdraw it until Sunday.
Lollacashless
There is no cash handling. In the same entry bracelet you can load the money to be exchanged at the venue, it must be done before the start of the festival on the official website by going to (cashless.allaccess.com.ar/event/lollapalooza-2022/login).
But there are also points enabled to do so on the spot through the credit card. The system is simple, and effective: instead of using cash, you load money on that bracelet and pay with it everything you consume on the premises. It's a way to save time by avoiding lines.
It is the only payment element allowed in food trucks and drink stalls. The only ones who do not pay at Lollapalooza are children under 10 years old who arrive accompanied by an adult with a ticket.
Accesos
There are four entry points to the San Isidro Racecourse that are enabled for spectators:
—Corner of Santa Fe Avenue and Marquez Avenue.
—Avenida Márquez to 900 (Paddock entrance to the San Isidro Racecourse)
—Parking 1 (corner of Santa Fe Avenue and Av. De Unidad Nacional)
—Parking lot 2 (corner of Avenida Márquez and Fleming)
Transporte Público
Those who go by public transport can get there by train (Mitre line, Tigre branch), getting off at San Isidro station. Or collectively. From CABA, line 60 is the most popular, but there are also 15 and 21.
For the return, the Mitre train will have an extended service departing from San Isidro Station. There will be training every 15 minutes until 2 in the morning and will stop only at Belgrano and Retiro stations where the service will end. Bus lines 60, 203, 333, 343, 365, 371, 338 and 707 that depart from the San Isidro Racecourse will be more frequent.
Bicicletas
Another option is to go by bicycle, there is room to leave it safe on the premises. Or at the nursery school located at San Isidro Station (Cosme Beccar 160) which will run until 2:00 on the days of the festival.
People with disabilities will have all access enabled, but the one that the organization recommends most is that of Márquez at 900 (access 2).
Seguridad e higiene
The municipality of San Isidro arranged an additional 500 police officers to guard the perimeter and enabled a contact number: any complaint can be made by calling 4512-3333. In addition, within the premises there will be a first aid shop and several ambulances available.
If a child is lost, we will not have to applaud but go to the Kidzapalooza area, where the stray children will be taken. It is important that those who go with children go through that position first to register and facilitate the meeting in case something happens.
Other useful information
The list of objects that can be entered is detailed. It is allowed to enter with alcohol gel or 70% alcohol in containers up to 200 ml and masks. Also small bags, fanny packs or single-compartment backpacks, as well as empty plastic bottles or cylinders for hydration. Inside there will be charging stations.
You can't go in with food bought outside. Nor do you have a thermos for mate.
