'Jamming Festival 2022': The event was canceled, but these are the plans you can make in Ibague

With fanfare, the 'Jamming Festival 2022' had been announced, which for some would be the perfect opportunity to revive the country's economy even more. Several entrepreneurs went into debt in order to bring their products to the event and who saw in it the opportunity to increase their profits among food, clothing, accessories, transportation and even the hotel sector saw an uptick in this activity.

However, in the morning, the Mayor's Office of Ibagué, working together with the Ministry of Culture of the municipality, reported in the morning the cancellation of the music festival that would bring together more than 50,000 people a day in Playa Hawaii, the perfect space where everything had been set up for the execution of the event that would bring together artists such as Don Omar, 1280 souls, UB40, including local talent.

The Jamming Festival was not the only event that the capital of Tolima would have this festive bridge, because from last Thursday, March 17 to Saturday, March 19, the 36th Colombian Music Festival will be held, which for this opportunity will award a prize of 70 million pesos to the winner of this version.

This year, the festival, which will pay tribute to the department of Huila, seeks to highlight regional talent and thus contribute to the preservation of the legacy of great masters of music throughout history, from musical notes turned into guabinas, rajaleñas, corridors, waltzes and bambucos.
