One of the first to criticize the regrettable scene in which Osorio stomps the juvenile right-hand scorer Juan David Mosquera with the dead ball, was the renowned sports journalist Iván Mejia, who lashed out at the scarlet strategist after delaying the reinstatement of the DIM player and trying to hurt him faced the linesman of the party.

The vallecaucano journalist did not keep a single comment of rejection and repudiation against Osorio after reacting to a triune by the Win Sports journalist, José Hugo Illera, who took the fragment of the television broadcast where the aggression of the experienced strategist who once trained the Mexican national team is appreciated, as appreciate in minute 1:53 of the summary of the match below:

Mejía was sharp with his traditional acid comments via Twitter and on this social network he highlighted the need for medical assistance that Osorio is going through after calling it “striped” after the overall 3-3 between scarlets and powerful ones that was resolved by the way of throwing maximum penalty with 1-3 triumph of Medellin.

It is not the first time that the risaraldense coach has such an attitude in the middle of the match, because in October 2021 he insulted the fourth official in the final of the BetPlay Super League against Independiente Santa Fe, as well as the attendees of a grandstand at the Nemesio Camacho El Campín stadium in Bogotá.

On that occasion, Juan Carlos disagreed with several decisions made by Antioquia's central judge Wílmar Roldán, who initially asked him to calm down. However, he ignored and came close to assaulting the fourth judge, for which he received a yellow card. “Don't touch me, you bastard,” Osorio angrily reproached the fourth official after he drew attention to him for his gestures.
