Maximiliano “Max” Batista, ontological coach and Leonardo Cositorto's number 2 in Generation Zoe, the conglomerate of firms accused of running a massive Ponzi scheme, would come to Argentina to surrender, as his lawyer, Miguel Ángel Pierri, slipped on Twitter.

Local authorities suspect that he is in Europe. He is on the run a month ago accused of scams and illicit association by the Cordovan prosecutor Juliana Companys, who is investigating the group's maneuvers in Villa María. Companys asked Batista and Cositorto for international capture, today in the hands of Interpol. “We have been coordinating your presentation for days. He always expressed his willingness to be in law, correcting a personal issue, he will immediately appear before the Prosecutor of Villa María. There will be news in the coming hours,” said Pierri in his account.

The pressure is on the rise. This week, the Federal Police raided Batista's daughter: they kidnapped a Mercedes Benz and a dozen phones and computers, as well as dollars and pesos.

The local security forces, for the time being, did not receive confirmation from the prosecution that Batista will report to Argentina. The fact that he steps on Argentine soil or any airport is a guarantee of an arrest. Batista and Cositorto are the two main fugitives in the case along with former judge Hector Yrimia, who called himself the “legal director” of Generation Zoe, who left Argentina at the end of last year, when the case began to break out.
