Face-to-face returns to the Road Tourism races

On March 26 and 27, the third date of the Road Tourism (TC) and the TC Pista will be held at the Concepción del Uruguay racetrack, in the province of Entre Ríos, where the Rus Agrotoken Grand Prix will be held. The event could be one more in the category calendar, but this time it will undoubtedly be a very special race for several reasons.

The first of these is that after two years the category runs in the central part of the country, in a province very fond of fierros, with an audience. In that sense, the expectation is so great that for more than 15 days people have settled in the vicinity of the circuit reserving their places. This is also reflected in the unusual pace of pre-sale of tickets, which takes place through Ticketek and Multipago.

The second reason why the Rus Agrotoken Grand Prix is so unique is because it is the first sustainable motorsport race. A historic event in that sports sector that will be materialized through a comprehensive plan to be developed throughout the weekend.

It will start from the previous dissemination, for which ecological brochures will be used. On the other hand, more than 300 trees will be planted throughout the circuit and the energy that will be used will be generated through solar panels. Finally, the waste generated in the competition will be recycled.

The third reason that makes this race so peculiar is that the three drivers from both categories who finish on the podium will win prizes of 4,000,000 pesos that will be paid in cryptocurrencies. This award was provided by the grain and food tokenization platform Agrotoken and is a novelty in Argentine motorsport.

In addition, during the course of the sporting event, tributes will be held to the former fighters of the Malvinas and the Argentine Red Cross, as part of the commemoration of the 40th anniversary of the beginning of the Malvinas War. Also, depending on the fact that the draw for the group stage of the Qatar 2022 football world cup will be held on April 1, there will be a tribute to the 86 champions for which players from the national team of that feat will be present.

The TC championship, after the first two dates, is led by Germán Todino, the young rider from Rivera, Buenos Aires province. Meanwhile, TC Pista has Rosario rider Pedro Boero, representative of the Rus Med Team, at the top of the standings table. Everything is given so that on March 26 and 27, the drivers of Turismo Carretera and their teams will offer a great show to the large audience expected in Concepción del Uruguay, since this time the show will not be only on the track.
