After the performance of Sandra Echeverría as María Bonita was confirmed a couple of days ago, in the bioseries that Televisa Univision is preparing for spectators, Eiza González, Mexican actress, found that she will not miss the opportunity to star María Félix, La Doña in order to take her to the big screen.
“I am very proud of the stories of Latin women, not only do I want to tell the life of María Félix, I want to tell the lives of many women who have opened doors to us and that thanks to them, that many people really don't have the opportunity to know more about them, that people know more about what Mexican women are, women and why not use these platforms that we have as immigrants or as Latinos in order to open up more opportunities? ”, he confirmed in an interview for the program Ventaneando.
Prior to this, there was speculation about the actress's performance in the possible film, since in January of this year the artist evoked the essence of the aforementioned one, as it surprised her 8 million followers on Instagram with the publication of some photographs that were part of the edition of Vogue magazine in Mexico and Latin America. For the photo shoot Eiza was inspired by the remembered golden film diva.
In this way, the actress of Baby Driver did not comment on the recent controversy that has arisen over the authorizations of relatives to be able to carry out a project by María Bonita.
Eiza also announced that she plans to bring several Mexican actors to Hollywood, as she seeks to stand out in the world of direction and production.
''I feel very proud, I want to start directing, I want to start producing, I want to bring people from my country to the United States and be able to help people because I think mentorship is very important (mentoring is very important) and it is not very consistent in our culture, so I would like to do it more”, commented.
In addition, the Hollywood actress sought in her role as an associate producer, together with the filmmaker Matthew Heineman, to project the life of the enigmatic woman who was recognized not only for her acting and beauty, but for her superb manner and her sophisticated style that many described as smug.
Last year, both the famous and Luis Gerardo Mendez, were confirmed as part of the Hollywood Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, so both will be able to vote at the next awards ceremony. Faced with this fact, the artist explained that “it's incredible, being able to be part of the Academy is surreal. I am incredibly grateful to God and to my country that has supported me, because I couldn't be here without the support of my country and the people who have been with me since I started.”
To date, the Mexican actress starred in the action film Ambulance next to Jake Gyllenhaal directed by Michael Bay, in which she played a daring female paramedic who becomes hostage to two bank robbers, a song that reminded her of her father who died in a road accident 20 years ago.
“Not anything else that, my mother, many people don't know it, but my mom is a doctor, she went to UNAM and is a dentist, so it's like a thousand things that completely influence the process of growth and process of creating a project (...) I prepared for about four months with doctors, nurses, surgeons, I was in an ambulance to find out what to do in those circumstances,” he said.
