Despite the strong COVID-19 pandemic, which continues to diminish the lives of millions of people, the outlook in Mexico City continues to improve in terms of hospitalizations, so the epidemiological traffic light will remain unchanged.

In this way, the health traffic light will continue at a green light (low contagion alert) from next Monday, this was announced by Eduardo Clark García, director general of Digital Government of the Digital Agency for Public Innovation of the CDMX, during a press conference.

“Fortunately, in all the indicators we monitor, the improvement continues in CDMX. That is why we received a notification from the Mexican government that we continue on the indicators that put us on the green light. We are at 3.5 points is the lowest score we have had in the entire pandemic.”

According to the statistics he presented, in the case of CDMX there were 355 people hospitalized at yesterday's cut-off.

“We have had a downward trend in recent days. We are also very close to our historic low, which was the last week of December, when we reached 299,” he said.

Regarding daily hospital admissions, he reported that for 7 days, CDMX reached “historic lows”.

“We still have a downward trend in the last week, albeit at a slower pace than in February.”

Regarding the positive cases found in health kiosks and health centers, the figures presented are also positive, as there is a 99% reduction, compared to the maximum number of positives identified on January 17. At least 120 are currently detected a day.

“This is reflected in a reduction in positivity. We are for the first time in a positivity of less than 10% weekly so far in 2022″.
