For the 17th key of the 2022 Brasil - Copa Brasil tournament, São Paulo was superior and took the three points against a lackluster rival. The home goals were scored by Eder (34' 1Q) and Diego Costa (42' 1Q).

A great play by San Pablo, 34 minutes from the start of the first half, was the one that moved the score thanks to Eder. After receiving a pass from Rafinha, the attacker positioned him from the large area to the right post and below. Impossible for the archer!

Rogério Ceni's team generated danger with a shot by Emiliano Rigoni, 86 minutes into the second phase, who ended up hitting one of the sticks.

The best player in the game was Diego Costa. The São Paulo defender had a good level by scoring 1 goal and releasing 4 dangerous balls.

Eder also excelled in Morumbí. The São Paulo striker scored 1 goal and scored the opposite goal 4 times.

It was a game with many fouls and numerous interruptions.

Sao Paulo coach Rogério Ceni proposed a 4-3-3 formation with Jandrei on goal; Rafinha, Diego Costa, Léo and Reinaldo on the defensive line; Andrés Colorado, Pablo Maia and Rodrigo Nestor in half; and Nikão, Eder, and Marquinhos in attack.

Meanwhile, Evaristo de Toledo Piza's team took the field in a 4-5-1 scheme with Pedro Henrique under the three suits; Felipe Cordeiro, Paulo Sérgio, Claudinho and Renan Luis in defense; Gutierrez, Paranhos, Felipe Baiano, Thiaguinho and Silvano in the middle of the field; and Alvinho in the lead.

Daniel Nobre Bins was the referee who led the game in Morumbi.

By beating Manaus, São Paulo earned its place in the third phase of Brazil - Copa Brasil 2022.
