With Dinenno as the protagonist, this was the comeback of Pumas in Concachampions

The Universidad club achieved the feat of qualifying for the semifinal of the Concacaf Champions League. After Pumas lost 3-0 in the first leg in the United States, he knew how to take advantage of the locality in Ciudad Universitaria and matched the overall score in the second leg to finally eliminate New England in the penalty round.

Juan Ignacio Dinenno scored the first two goals of the game and sealed his performance of the match with the last penalty. He was in charge of defining the fate of the club.
