Why Shiro Gomez Reiba compared the arrest of a wild horse to the arrest of Elba Esther Gordillo

After the arrest of Jamie Rodriguez Calderon, nicknamed El Bronco, several photos of the former governor of Nuevo León were disseminated in the apodaka prison when they were placed in a pre-trial detention facility.

In this regard, dozens of figures have placed themselves, highlighting the words of President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrado (AMLO), who has not approved all the images circulating on social networks.

He stated that he violated the dignity of a former independent politician who was in preventive custody at the Apodaca prison on suspicion of switching resources without pointing out a specific image. He was convinced that the use of graphics has moved away from legal utilities.

“I say that what I don't like is a picture they took because I think it affects people's dignity. (...) It's not a legal issue, it's a matter of honor and dignity (...) I didn't like the photo and I hope it won't happen again.” She said in front of reporters and reporters at the National Palace of Mexico City.

Ciro Gómez Leyva, journalist from Imagen Televisión, accused him of “humiliation of prisoners, whatever his name may be,” and even compared it with other famous cases of arrests.

Gómez Leyva said: “Yesterday's photo of a wild horse in prison reminded me of photos that were humiliated many years ago, such as Mario Villanueva, former governor of Quintanaru in 2001, or Dr. Elba Esther Godillo in 2013.”

According to Jesús Murillo Karam, then the Attorney General of the Republic, Elba Esther Godillo was arrested in 2013 on suspicion of diverting public resources.

They are said to have diverted these resources and liberated them to accounts and banks across the country for teachers of the National Association of Education Workers.

Elba Esther was detained at Toluca Airport when she landed in San Diego. According to the most recent revelation by La Silla Rota, agents from the Federal Police and Prosecutor's Office were waiting for her there.

The next day, a photo of Elba Esther Gordillo appeared in court 6 of the Oriente Prison, where he sent for the first time the same photograph of the alleged sentence for the crime mentioned there.

On the other hand, from 1993 to 1999, the governor of Quintanaru Mario Villanueva was arrested in 2001 after escaping the last year of the last century from his home in Rancho “El Mostrenko” on the Guchetumal Calderitas highway.

The politician was chosen by the US authorities to provide support to the Juarez cartel for the transportation of drugs from the southern border of Mexico to the northern border.

Photos of him dressed in a plaid shirt, bulletproof vest, big beard, and long hair went around the country. In the image, he appeared surrounded by agents: when he was transported to Mexico in 2017, this time by the same authorities, his photo was also published.

Ciro Gómez Leyva assured that whoever shoots and shoots Jaime Rodríguez, the former governor of Nuevo León, should be sanctioned exemplarily with all his superiors.

“If there is an intention to end such behavior that violates dignity, it must be punished in an exemplary manner,” he said.
