On Wednesday, March 16, Ricardo Monreal confirmed that the appearance of Alejandro Gertz Manero, head of the Attorney General's Office (FGR), in the Senate of the Republic will be held behind closed doors on Thursday 17, so the legislators of the National Action Party (PAN), Lilly Tellez and Xóchitl Gálvez, broke out against this decision which was endorsed by Julen Rementería, its bench coordinator.

“It is unacceptable that the head of the FGR, Alejandro Gertz Manero, should come to the Senate of the Republic tomorrow to appear only before a small group of senators. We all voted for it and we deserve to be brought before the plenary. What are they afraid of? do not take him out”, Gálvez Ruiz posted on his social networks.

Meanwhile, Tellez García took the floor in the full Senate to urge Olga Sánchez Cordero, president of the Board of Directors of the Upper House, to appear before all the legislators who ratified him in the position he now holds.
