The New York Stock Exchange opened lower on Thursday after two sessions of earnings and with concern about the renewed tension between the United States and Russia over the invasion of Ukraine, rather than the rise in interest rates announced by the Federal Reserve (Fed) the previous day.

In the first operations, the Dow Jones industrial index fell by 0.36%, while the Nasdaq index, of technological composition, fell 0.71% and the expanded S&P 500 index - one of the 500 largest companies on the stock exchange - lost 0.41%.
